Dr. Petrin specializes in non-operative Sports Medicine and is board certified in both Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has advanced fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine from the University of Utah Salt Lake City, UT, and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Petrin has experience with pediatric, adolescent, and adult concussion management, including on-field initial evaluation and management, as well as with guiding recovery and return-to-play decisions. She has experience working with athletes and adaptive athletes of all ages, and from a variety of sporting backgrounds. She has served as a team physician at the high school, collegiate and national team levels. She has extensive sports team coverage experience in a wide range of sporting events. They include professional cycling races, Olympic team trials, national championships, world cup and world championship events. She has provided her expertise in working with a variety of sports organizations, including USA Climbing, USA Volleyball and others.
