Trishala Meghal, MD

Dr. Trishala Meghal, MD is a board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at RWJ Barnabas Health. She completed her fellowship at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn where she was selected to serve as the Chief Fellow. She then joined the Maimonides Medical Center as a faculty with subspecialty focus on breast cancers, gynecological cancers and genitourinary cancers. She was also actively involved in the education of fellows and residents, and conducting clinical trials. She has published several papers on oncology and hematology in peer reviewed journals.

At RWJ Barnabas Health she provides care to patients with all stages of breast cancer, gynecological cancers and genitourinary cancers. In addition to clinical care, she also conducts clinical trials with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, and American Association of Clinical Research.

My philosophy of care is to provide evidence-based, comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients. I believe in shared decision making and being the patients’ advocate throughout their journey with cancer. I provide individualized care based on the mos t advanced treatments available.
