Dr. Morgan earned her medical degree from Assiut University Medical School in Egypt. She completed internal medicine training at New York Medical College, Richmond Program, followed by Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, NJ. After completing rheumatology training, she returned to Rutgers as a faculty member.
Dr. Morgan maintains a general rheumatology practice at RWJMS, as well as Private Practice in East Brunswick, NJ, serving a wide variety of patients. She takes great pride in mentoring and teaching her clinical skills to the next generation of physicians. She plays an active role in the clinical training of rheumatology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.
Dr. Morgan enjoys managing a complex group of rheumatologic diseases including inflammatory arthritis and connective tissue diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell arteritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, sarcoid arthropathy, ANCA associated vasculitis, polymyositis, dermatomyositis, and scleroderma. She also treats patients who suffer from all types of joint pain due to osteoarthritis, mechanical neck and back pain, as well as fibromyalgia. These conditions greatly impact young male and female patients during their prime years of life, while others affect elderly populations during their golden age of retirement. Her expertise is to manage these painful conditions that deprive patients from enjoying a good quality of life, as well as to understand and manage the many organ complications associated with these conditions. She takes great pride in caring for her patients, to whom she provides the best care possible, in all aspects, physical and emotional.
