    Dr. Sowmya Ananthan's practice focusses on atypical tooth pain and headaches, trigeminal neuralgia, and temporo-mandibular disorders. She is board certified by the American Board of Orofacial Pain and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. She is renowned for her diagnostic acumen and for providing compassionate care to her patients. Dr. Ananthan is an assistant professor at the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and teaches in the post-graduate Orofacial Pain program. She is also a teaching faculty at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Ananthan has published various articles, book chapters and has presented abstracts at various national and international meetings.
