Dr. Sharan Mahal is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology. Dr. Mahal graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in India, after which he completed an internship at LNJP Hospital, also in India. He then completed an internal medicine residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Mahal completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Mahal is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of Somerset County.
