    Dr. Shakil Shaikh joined Hamilton Cardiology Associates in 2021. As a New Jersey native, Dr. Shaikh graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Dr. Shaikh then graduated from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center/University of Massachusetts Medical School. His General Cardiology Fellowship was completed at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he obtained clinical expertise in the areas of nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac catheterization. He served as chief cardiology fellow in his final year. Dr. Shaikh completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program at New York University Hospital-Long Island (NYU Langone Health), where he gained expertise in interventional management of complex coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease and structural heart disease. Dr Shaikh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Adult Echocardiography. Dr. Shaikh is currently serving on the Pharmacy & Therapeutics/Drug Usage Committee and Medical Advisory Panel at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
