Scott Merlin, MD

Dr. Scott Merlin received his undergraduate and Master’s degrees in physiology and experimental surgery from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his MD degree from the Technion -Israel Institute of Technology medical school, graduating with clinical honors. Dr. Merlin has been a member of the Medical Staff since 2007. He trained in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Weill Cornell Medical Center and completed his fellowship training in Oncologic Surgical Pathology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Merlin is an author of several publications in anatomic pathology including Breast Pathology.. He is a skilled surgical pathologist with particular interests in gastrointestinal pathology, oncologic pathology, and breast pathology. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists, and a member of the New Jersey Society of Pathologists. He serves on the Credentials and CME committees.
