• Dr. Schubert Perotte is the Chair of Emergency Medicine at Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Perotte has held numerous leadership positions, including chair of Emergency Medicine at East Orange General Hospital, director of Somerset Urgent Care, and as well as several physician director roles with Emergency Medicine Associates/Envision. During the past 15 years, Dr. Perotte has provided care at hospitals throughout New Jersey, New York and North Carolina.

    A New Jersey native, Dr. Perotte obtained his bachelor's degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School - UMDNJ. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, where he was Intern of the Year and later became chief resident.

    Dr. Perotte is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine.
