• Nidhi Tripathi, MD, FACC is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Disease and Hypertension, Department of Medicine at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is a non-invasive cardiologist and will serve as the Director of the Cardio-Oncology Program.

    Dr. Tripathi completed her undergraduate education at Duke university where she graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Biology. She earned her medical degree at the Duke University School of Medicine, and then completed Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the New York University School of Medicine respectively.

    Dr. Tripathi is a non-invasive cardiologist with a particular interest in valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, hypertension, preventative cardiology, and echocardiography among others. Prior to joining the faculty at Rutgers, Dr. Tripathi was a member cardiologist of Atlantic Cardiology, LLC where she was known to be an empathetic and collaborative physician who took pride in actively partnering with her patients and their healthcare teams to achieve the best outcomes possible.

    On a personal note, Dr. Tripathi enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Once an avid athlete, she now enjoys coaching her young children’s athletic endeavors. She enjoys cooking and exploring cuisines of different cultures both locally and while traveling with the family.
