Philosophy of Care:
In my approach to patient care, my time in New York has allowed me to serve a diverse range of patient populations, giving me firsthand experience of the disparities present in the healthcare field. I prioritize personalized, patient-centered care that takes into consideration each patient's unique demographics and background that may impact their journey. I strive to create a sublime patient experience that fosters effective communication and promotes patient education, including understanding diagnoses, available standards of care options, and providing alternatives such as trial options. I constantly re-evaluate my patient care approach based on patients' experiences and highly value feedback.
I have a wide array of oncological subspecialty interests that align with my research, particularly in lymphoma, breast oncology, and genitourinary oncology. I seek to provide patients with access to clinical trials and innovations that meet their expectations at a nationally recognized academic institution in line with the rapidly evolving cancer science base.
