Miguel Conde, MD, is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at The Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
Dr. Conde has a strong interest in clinical trials and partners with a variety of organizations including UCLA Trio (Translational Research in Oncology), National Cancer Institute (NCI), The Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and pharmaceutical companies to bring cutting edge trials and drug development to The Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
Prior to arriving at Cooperman Barnabas, Dr. Conde was a reviewer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dr. Conde received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. He continued his postdoctoral training with an internship and residency in internal medicine, and a hematology/medical oncology fellowship, at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He subsequently completed a drug development fellowship jointly sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and the FDA. Dr. Conde acquired additional training on the bone marrow transplant service at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Conde is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Hematology, Society for Neuro-Oncology, American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Medical Association.
