• Michael Katz, MD, FACS graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and received his medical degree at Boston University Medical School where he also completed his Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery residency training and served as Chief Resident.

    Dr. Katz is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology –Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

    Dr Katz has experience in treating both adult and pediatric ENT disorders. He has specific expertise in treating sinus disease, nasal polyps, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, as well as middle ear and mastoid disorders. Dr. Katz has additional expertise in performing ultrasound examination of the head and neck and performs ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration biopsies of thyroid nodules. He performs state of the art functional endoscopic sinus surgery with the utilization of stereotactic image guidance as well as CO2 laser stapedotomy for the treatment of Otosclerosis.

    Dr Katz has been honored by Castle Connolly Jersey’s Best Magazine Top Doctors, and Top Doctors New York Metro area since 2016. In addition he has been recognized by New York Magazine: Top Doctors since 2021.

    When he is not working with patients, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf and piano.
