Dr. Gilder has served as a consultant for surgical instrument manufacturers. He is highly skilled in endoscopy and has performed thousands of colonoscopies. His expertise is minimally invasive intestinal surgery, therapeutic high-risk colonoscopy, endorectal ultrasound, and anorectal surgery. He remains an active clinical instructor at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
Dr. Gilder’s honors include being named to “Castle Connolly Top Doctors New York Metro Area” in 2007 and “New York Magazine Best Doctors” in 2008. Recently, he was named to “Inside Jersey” magazine 2009 Top Doctors Issue.
His interests include spending time with his wife and two daughters along with golf and skiing.
