Affiliations Find Me On https://hcahamilton.com/ Bio Dr. Marie Bernardo joined Hamilton Cardiology Associates in 2022. She is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of N.J. where she obtained her Bachelor of Art (B.A.) degree, majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and minor in Psychology. Following, Dr. Bernardo obtained her Medical Degree at Ross University School of Medicine where she graduated with high honors. She then completed her residency at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center and served as Chief Resident at Scripps Mercy Hospital. Her General Cardiology Fellowship was completed at Beaumont Health, where she served as Chief Fellow and obtained clinical expertise in the areas of cardiac catheterization, level II training in nuclear cardiology, level II training in echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound interpretation. Dr. Bernardo completed her Interventional Cardiology Fellowship program at New York-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist, where she gained expertise in interventional management of complex coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Bernardo is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Adult Echocardiography and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Bernardo is currently serving on the Critical Care Committee at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Dr. Bernardo’s professional interests are Complex and high-risk coronary intervention including chronic total occlusions and mechanical circulatory support, peripheral intervention, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement. -
