Dr. Espina is a board-certified family medicine physician who is bilingual in English and Spanish. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. He earned a medical degree from New Jersey Medical School, formerly known as the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed a Residency in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
