Affiliations Kim Monestime, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, holds a Master of Nursing from Boston College. After completing her residency at Community Health Centers Inc of Middletown, CT—an FQHC dedicated to serving vulnerable populations—Kim gained invaluable experience working as a travel nurse practitioner for four years. During this time, she provided care in a variety of settings, including county mental health programs for the homeless in Marin County, CA, and an inner-city community health clinic at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Kim's diverse clinical experience spans work with homeless populations, college students, immigrants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients, treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions including trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. Her passion lies in empowering her patients and enhancing mental health awareness, particularly within underserved communities. She is committed to fighting the stigma surrounding mental health, believing that education is a vital tool in this ongoing battle. Driven by a deep sense of compassion and professionalism, Kim Monestime integrates evidence-based care with personalized treatment approaches. Her goal is to help her patients navigate their mental health journeys while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can flourish.
