Dr. Kelvin Kwong, serving as the Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology, is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Kwong completed his Otolaryngology internship and residency at Wayne State University. He furthered his training in Pediatric Otolaryngology by completing a fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine. While he practices the entire spectrum of pediatric otolaryngology, Dr. Kwong’s clinical interests include management of complex pediatric airway conditions, congenital head & neck mass, hearing loss, chronic ear diseases and sinus diseases. His primary research interests are pediatric sleep apnea and the incidence of otitis media in preterm infants. His work has appeared in various peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has given many regional and national presentations on the above research topics. He has authored a textbook chapter on the topic and given lectures to share his clinical expertise in both academic and community settings. Dr. Kwong is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
