Dr. Pasichow studied medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC, afterward training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and completed fellowships in Oncology and Hematology at Columbia University, and Palliative & Hospice Medicine at Christiana and A.I. DuPont hospitals. He served as the medical director for Bayada Hospice in Southern NJ and Southeastern PA following fellowship, a home visit and inpatient Hospice & Palliative Medicine Physician with Vitas Healthcare in Southern NJ, and a Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician and assistant professor of pediatrics with Hackensack Meridian Health, and Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Dr. Pasichow currently works as the Director of Palliative Medicine for RWJBarnabas Monmouth Medical Center, in Long Branch, NJ. Dr. Pasichow has expertise in hospice regulations, as well as home and hospital based palliative and hospice program development and administration, complex symptom management, and complex and chronic pain management, addiction medicine, non-opioid pain management, and management of complex pain related to sickle cell anemia, in both children and adults.
