I am an Assistant Professor within the Division of Acute Care Surgery, participating trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care in our Shock Trauma ICU. I am also the Associate Director of the Rutgers Acute Care Surgery Research Lab (RASR) and have a research interest in understanding blood clotting after traumatic injury.
Philosophy of Care:
As trauma and acute care surgeons, we hold a unique privilege in serving patients of our community and their patients at their darkest hour. I am grateful for this opportunity, especially as this is the community in which I was raised.
