    Dr. John P. Nolan is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and is board-certified in Sports Medicine and General Orthopaedics. He is one of the founders of our medical group. Dr. Nolan grew up in Huntington Valley, PA and attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia, receiving a degree in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree at Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in orthopaedic training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and subsequently earned an academic appointment as a clinical instructor there. He acquired his specialty training in sports medicine at Temple University. Dr. Nolan holds a patent for an arthroscopic laser hand instrument. He was appointed clinical instructor at the orthopaedic division of Laser Centers of America in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He has served as an Orthopaedic Consultant for Pharmacia. He has been a physician for several area school athletic teams. Dr. Nolan is currently the Director of orthopaedic trauma at St. Mary Medical Center and has served in the Executive Committee of Capital Health System. Dr. Nolan lives in Washington Crossing, PA and is married with six children.
