H. Stephen Fletcher, MD

H. Stephen Fletcher is a board certified general surgeon with a comprehensive clinical background. Dr. Fletcher has been practicing as a physician since 1972 and has had privileges at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center for over 40 years. For 20 years, he served as the Director for the Intensive Care Unit and he is currently the Director for the Vascular Laboratory at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. He has been actively involved with resident education his entire career at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. He holds a Clinical Associate Professors Appointment with Rutgers University Medical School-Newark. In addition, he has held many State and National positions in the field of medicine and surgery, including President of the New Jersey Chapter and Governor of the American College of Surgery, President of the Essex County of Medical Society, Trustee of the New Jersey State Medical Society and most recently Interim Chairman of the Department of Surgery in 2016-2017.
