Born and raised in Monmouth County, Dr. Lepis attended Wall Township High School and Quinnipiac University, completing her bachelors degree in health science studies. She attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and obtained both a Doctor of Medicine and Masters of Public Health degree.
She completed her surgical residency training at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. During her residency, she was presented with several awards. She was awarded the Critical care award and was the recipient of the Donald K. Brief Award. She was a winner of the Ellen M. Cosgrove, MD House Staff Paper Competition for several consecutive years. She received awards from the American College of Surgeons and has presented her publications at various conferences. She has certifications in both endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery under the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. She attained certification for surgery with the Intuitive da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. Dr. Lepis is currently general surgery board eligible.
After completing her training, Dr. Lepis practices as a member of the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group where she continues to serve the community she grew up in, trained and currently resides. She currently lives in Monmouth County with her husband.
