Dr. Erwin Mermelstein is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology. He attended medical school at Weill Cornell University Medical College. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at The New York Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. His fellowship in cardiovascular diseases was completed at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mermelstein is the clinical assistant professor of medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Mermelstein is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He maintains professional memberships with numerous medical societies, including the American College of Physicians and the American Heart Association.
