Eric N. Burkett, MD

Dr. Burkett is board certified in internal and geriatric medicine. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency training at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, N.J. He has been included several times in the “Best Physicians in the New York Metropolitan Area” directory and was a recipient of the Consumer’s Research Council of America Award for America’s Top Physician in 2007.
Dr. Burkett was a member of the U.S. Army Medical Corps and chief of the U.S. Health Dispensary in Bayonne, N.J. He is a member of the Monmouth County and New Jersey Medical Societies, the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine, American College of Quality and the American Society of Physician Executives.
Dr. Burkett will no longer be seeing patients for the practice. He will continue to serve as the Medical Director for Barnabas Health Medical Group.
