Affiliations Dr. Akhabue is a board certified general cardiologist who treats various types of cardiovascular disease. He is also very passionate about helping people reduce their risk of developing cardiovascular disease in the future, which is also known as preventive cardiology. Dr. Akhabue has additional expertise in cardiac imaging, holding board certifications in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is one of the primary cardiologists who interpret echocardiograms at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
