    Bio
    A board certified cardiologist and interventional cardiologist, Dr. Altmann holds degrees from Harvard College, the Yale University School of Medicine and the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed an internal medicine residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center, followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital and a second fellowship in interventional cardiology at Washington Hospital Center. Prior to coming to New Jersey, he was assistant professor of medicine and assistant director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at New York Hospital - Cornell Medical School. He currently is clinical assistant professor of medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and serves on the Board of Trustees of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Altmann has been included in numerous "best doctors" lists including those of Castle Connolly and New Jersey Monthly.
