Receiving a child cancer or blood disorder diagnosis is an extremely challenging time for both the patient and the entire family. I practice a family centered approach with shared decision making to ensure that my patients receive the best medical care while being mindful of the various family dynamics. Aside from addressing my patients’ medical needs, I also work with a team of advanced practitioners, social workers and child life specialists that aid in providing true comprehensive care to my patients throughout the treatments.
