    Dr. Chirag Shah is a native of New Jersey who attended Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ where he graduated with Highest Honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He then continued his medical degree education at UMDNJ - School of Osteopathic Medicine (now known as Rowan-Virtua SOM) where he graduated amongst the top of his class. Dr. Shah completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship both at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He served as Chief Cardiology Fellow during his last year of cardiology training. Dr. Shah is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. He has special interests/training in preventive cardiology, echocardiography, stress testing and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. He enjoys helping future physicians by providing educational opportunities to premedical and medical students. He has been voted Top Doc by NJ Monthly over the last several years. Dr. Shah has been an attending physician at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Saint Peter’s University Hospital and Penn Medicine Princeton Hospital since 2009. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, catching up on his favorite TV shows and traveling with his wife and two children.
