Dr. Park is a fellowship trained head and neck oncology surgeon, as well as a microvascular reconstructive surgeon. He completed his Otolaryngology residency training at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Through the American Head and Neck Society (AHNS), he spent a year obtaining advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgery and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery as well as Transoral Robotic Surgery (TORS). Specializing in the treatment of complex Head and Neck Oncology Surgery as well as Microvascular Reconstruction. He has expertise in treating a wide variety of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck, including those of the salivary glands, thyroid, tongue, lips, throat, jaw and skin cancer. Dr. Park has develop the Head and Neck Microvascular Reconstruction program as well as the Trans Oral Robotic Surgery program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and helped to create a multidisciplinary program that will help to dramatically import the quality of life by changing the way patients look, speak, and eat. In addition, Dr. Park has been a very active researcher and has published numerous articles relating to outcome and treatment of Transoral Robotic Surgery, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Head and Neck Oncology. He has published over 50 peer reviewed articles on this topic, including several book chapters. He has presented his research in head and neck oncology and reconstructive surgery both regionally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Park also teaches several courses a year for both medical students as well as residents in the tristate area. He is fluent in both English and Korean.
