• Dr. Brian O'Connor joined the medical staff at Children’s Heart Center at Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center as the Director of Pediatric Electrophysiology in 2000. He received his Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine with honors. He completed his Pediatric Internship & Residency at Tufts -- New England Medical Center in Boston. Following his residency, Dr. O'Connor completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. Upon completion of his General Pediatric Cardiology fellowship training, Dr. O'Connor undertook a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing with Dr. Paul Gillette, at the Medical University of South Carolina.

    Dr. O'Connor is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is board certified in pediatric cardiology and general pediatrics. In addition he is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society.
