    Arthur W. Perry, MD, FACS, is a board certified plastic surgeon and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery at Columbia University and a Clinical Associate Professor of plastic surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He has over 3 decades of experience as a clinical surgeon -- suctioning fat, lifting faces, and injecting Botox at his New Jersey and Manhattan offices. With a surgical pedigree that includes a medical degree with distinction in research from Union’s Albany Medical College, and surgical, burn, and plastic surgery residencies at Harvard, Cornell, and the University of Chicago, Dr. Perry has been named to Castle Connolly’s “Best Doctors in the New York area” book each year for 19 years and has been twice named to both the New York Magazine’s and New Jersey Magazine's Top Doctor lists. He has won the Volunteer Faculty Award for outstanding service at Robert Wood Johnson and 2 national awards for his plastic surgery research. After a decade as the Governor’s appointee to the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, The New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons awarded him the Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Contributions to Plastic Surgery and to the Board. Dr. Perry has published many scientific papers and book chapters and is on the teaching faculty of the Columbia / Cornell plastic surgery residency program. He has served as an officer of both the Middlesex County Medical Society and the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Perry has written 4 books: Are You Considering Cosmetic Surgery (1997), Straight Talk about Cosmetic Surgery (received Foreword Magazine’s Gold Award for the top health book of 2007), You – Being Beautiful, (a New York Times 2008 best seller, co-authored with Drs. Michael Roizen and Mehmet Oz and Ted Spiker, Craig Wynett, and Lisa Oz), and Real Life of a Surgeon (2009). Dr. Perry’s next book, concentrating on women’s beauty, is expected soon. Dr. Perry has hosted a weekly plastic surgery show on WOR and WABC in New York since 2005 and co-hosted the nationally syndicated “YOU the Owners Manual Radio Show” with Dr. Roizen for 7 years. He was the cosmetic surgery expert and columnist for YouBeauty.com and is a member of the medical advisory board for the Doctor Oz television show and has appeared on the show 10 times. Dr. Perry created the skin care line for New Vitality, headlined by his NightSkin® cream. He formed Dr. Perry Skindustries, LLC, in 2012 to develop a new generation of scientifically based, honest and fairly priced skincare. Most importantly, Dr. Perry enjoys helping women look and feel their best through skincare, noninvasive procedures, and cosmetic surgery.
    Clinical Interests

    Dr. Perry's practice is devoted to cosmetic surgery in women. He has a particular interest in facial rejuvenation and believes that looking good starts with quality skincare. He creatively uses wrinkle fillers in a unique way to bring the "younger you" out of the shadows of age. His short scar facelift dramatically turns back the clock of aging.
