Dr. Adelizzi graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency at UMDNJ /School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she was Chief Resident during her final year. She is a Fellow in the American College of Osteopathic Internists. She has served as an associate professor at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She has been in clinical practice in Toms River since 1992. She has participated as a Principle Investigator in many Pharmaceutical Research studies. She became a Diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2017. She is a strong advocate of the importance of a healthy lifestyle to prevent disease.
