Dr. Amit Kalra is a board-certified cardiologist and sleep medicine specialist. Dr. Kalra graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He then completed an internal medicine residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Kalra completed a fellowship in cardiac CT imaging from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases from Hahnemann Hospital at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
I am one of the few cardiologists around the country who is double-boarded in sleep medicine. I have a vested interest in sleep medicine and its relationship to cardiovascular disease.
