• Amanda Teichman, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Acute Care Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University and Medical Degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed General Surgery Residency at Hahnemann University Hospital and Fellowship in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care at Cooper University Hospital.

    Dr. Teichman holds board certifications in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She works as a Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon and Surgical Intensivist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

    Dr. Teichman’s areas of interest include pre-hospital trauma care, trauma surgery, emergency surgery, surgical critical care, quality improvement, and injury and violence prevention. She is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
