Amanda Spinner, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Child Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson. She grew up in Somerset County and received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Lafayette College. She then graduated magna cum laude from St. George's University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Child Neurology at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland. She is currently seeing patients at Children's Health Institute and Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital in New Brunswick and World's Fair Drive in Somerset. She started a neurodevelopmental clinic caring for children with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, and developmental delays. Her other clinical interests include headaches, seizures/epilepsy, tic disorders, and functional neurological disorders. She enjoys teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. She resides with her husband, children, and dog. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to the beach.
