Philosophy of Care:
Dr. Alice Drain completed both medical school and residency in Urology at NYU Langone Medical Center and further fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. She specializes in voiding dysfunction and genitourinary reconstruction for male and female patients. She performs surgical and nonsurgical treatments for urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), pelvic organ prolapse, and complex genitourinary reconstruction. She also cares for patients with complex neurological conditions that can affect the bladder, such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and spinal cord injuries. She is passionate about tailoring treatment to the individual patient and has trained extensively in pelvic floor reconstruction including vaginal and robotic surgery to provide minimally invasive and innovative treatments to improve patient quality of life.
