Alfonso C. Ciervo, MD

Dr. Ciervo received his medical degree from the State University of New York Science Center at Brooklyn, where he completed his residency in general surgery as the chief resident. He then went on to complete a fellowship in vascular surgery at the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
He has done numerous research projects, publications, and articles within the field of vascular surgery. He is a member of many professional medical organizations including the New Jersey and New York chapters of the Society of Vascular Surgeons.
Dr. Ciervo has been involved with Resident Conferences for general and vascular surgery at Monmouth Medical Center. In 1999, he won first place in the New Jersey Vascular Surgery Research Forum and was honored with the Thomas W. Pollock Award the previous year. Among his special achievements, Dr. Ciervo has been named to America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals.
