Dr. Shah graduated from Grant Medical College, Bombay, India. He completed internal medicine residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx and advanced cardiac imaging and cardiovascular disease fellowships at St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University, New York. Dr. Shah is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and vascular imaging by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He holds Level III certification in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and cardiac CT. He also holds Level II certification in cardiac MR and vascular imaging.
Dr. Shah's professional affiliations include membership in the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance, American Society of Echocardiography, Society of Cardiovascular Computerized Tomography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
