Occupational Health & Workers' Compensation Clinical Care

Our Corporate Care offers the most comprehensive occupational health and workers’ compensation clinical care programs in New Jersey. We employ a staff of board-certified, fellowship-trained specialists in occupational medicine specially trained to organize preventive care and treat work-related injuries.

New Jersey law requires all non-federal employers to provide their employees with workers’ compensation insurance. Signing up for an occupational health program can not only lower the cost of insurance, but it provides your employees with a trusted, skilled medical facility in which to receive care that you have already had a relationship with.

What Is Occupational Medicine?

Certain jobs come with higher risks of accidents and injuries. Occupational medicine trains physicians to diagnose and treat the injuries most commonly associated with various workplaces. This training allows them to more quickly assist an injured worker than a primary care provider as they are more familiar with what to look for and what treatments will be most effective. Additionally, occupational medicine specialists can instruct your staff on preventive care measures to reduce the rate of illness and accidents in the workplace.

There are several types of injuries that most commonly occur in the workplace that an occupational medicine specialist is experienced in treating:

  • Hand injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Lymphedema
  • Burns
  • Heart disease
  • Orthopedic conditions – joint replacement, bone fractures, etc.

Workers' Comp Care

An employee injured on the job is entitled to paid medical treatment if their employer has purchased workers’ compensation insurance. Most employers in New Jersey are required to provide coverage for their employees, meaning if you are a full-time employee for a non-federal entity, you are most likely covered by workers’ comp.

Receiving treatment from a medical center that has a positive relationship with your employer can help to speed your claim along much faster. As New Jersey’s most comprehensive occupational health provider, we treat thousands of workers’ comp injuries every year. Employers know they can trust us to work with their employees to devise an efficient, effective treatment plan that will lead to a well-rounded recovery. This means less investigation into your claim from the insurance company and reliable medical care that will allow you to return to work faster.

Working with us has helped numerous employers cut down on worker’s comp expenses and reduce the amount of time their employees need to take off.
