New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection Program

New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection Program (NJCEED) offers education and screening to low-income individuals who qualify. The NJCEED Program provides comprehensive outreach, education and screening services for breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate cancers. Individuals are eligible for these services if they are at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level and are uninsured or under-insured.

Breast, cervical, prostate and colorectal cancers can be treated more effectively when found early and help is available.

NJCEED provides the following services:

  • Screening* (breast, prostate, cervical, colorectal; NJCEED follows American Cancer Society guidelines for screening)
  • Case Management
  • Tracking
  • Follow-up
  • Facilitation into Treatment
