at Community Medical Center
Important Update for Sabbath Observance.
Main Entrance Road Closure Notice – Effective April 14, 2025
As Community Medical Center begins our next phase of construction, please be advised of the following changes starting April 14, 2025 at 5:00 am:
- Vehicle access to the hospital campus from Hospital Drive will be closed. All vehicle traffic will be redirected to the hospital’s Route 37 West entrance, located by Riverwood Plaza.
- The Main Entrance Lobby will be accessible 5 am – 8 pm, 7 days a week, but only open to pedestrian traffic (those walking from 9 Hospital Drive or the bus stop).
- Outpatient Lobby hours will expand to 5 am – 8 pm, 7 days a week.
- Visitors or patients picking up or dropping off will need to use the Outpatient Lobby for entry and exit.
- There are no changes to parking for patients and visitors – please continue to use our new Visitor Parking Garage.
- Please direct all food deliveries to continue using the walk-in Main Entrance off Hospital Drive.
Important Update for Sabbath Observance
With the temporary closure of the main entrance and the outpatient lobby lacking a designated Sabbath door, security is prepared to assist by opening the outpatient door as required, especially with the upcoming Passover weekend. The designated Sabbath entrance in the courtyard will remain accessible and is available for use. Additionally, the location and access to the Sabbath elevators will remain unchanged.
Maternity Patients
- Starting April 14, 2025, maternity patients and visitors arriving to the hospital between 5 am – 8 pm must enter through the Outpatient Entrance and check in at the Outpatient Lobby Visitor Desk. The Outpatient Entrance is easily accessible from our new Visitor Parking Garage.
- Patients and visitors arriving before 6 am or after 8 pm must enter through the Emergency Department.
Free Valet Parking!
Starting April 9, complimentary valet parking will be offered at the Outpatient Entrance for visitors and patients Monday – Friday, 5:30 am – 8:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am – 8:30 pm.
Our New Garage Is Now Open!
As of Monday, March 3, 2025, Community Medical Center has opened their brand new parking garage, offering complimentary parking for visitors, patients and physicians.
Dedicated Parking for Outpatient Oncology Services
The first floor is reserved for Outpatient Oncology parking.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are available on the third level, with two elevators providing access to and from the hospital from the parking garage’s Ground Floor. These spaces are reserved for those with an accessible parking placard or marked license plate.
All other floors are available for all visitors and patients.
Parking in the garage is complimentary! Please remember to validate your parking ticket.
