About the Inpatient Unit

Clara Maass Medical Center offers an array of comprehensive, high-quality inpatient behavioral health programs to treat adult and geriatric patients struggling to function on their own.

In addition to the behavioral health involuntary inpatient unit located within the hospital, Clara Maass Medical Center has introduced a new 12,500 square foot, voluntary unit that provides intensive programming and treatment services designed specifically for adult and geriatric patients.

The new unit is composed of spacious rooms equipped with the latest patient safety features. Both units provide:
