Neurorehabilitation
The Neurorehabilitation Program at Children's Specialized Hospital is comprised of highly specialized professionals dedicated to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of functional disorders resulting from mild to severe brain injuries which occur after birth. Targeted symptoms can often include challenges with arousal, awareness, memory, attention, modulation, impulsivity, concentration and problem solving.
Conditions We Treat
General diagnoses include but are not limited to:
- Post concussive syndrome
- Brain tumor
- Cerebral vascular accidents
- Hypoxia
- Anoxia
- Toxic injury
- Infection (i.e., encephalitis, meningitis)
- Late effects of cancer treatment
- Degenerative diseases
- Epilepsy
