Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health is seeking an experienced Director of Oncology Services for the Central and Southern Regions. We seek a visionary leader who will work collaboratively with RWJBH Oncology Services and leadership to establish and achieve strategic goals and will inspire and mentor others.
The Director of Oncology Services for the Central and Southern Regions of RWJBH shall provide the necessary leadership and direction to enhance the operations, quality, image, and future growth of the Oncology programs across the Central and Southern Regions of RWJBH including Monmouth Medical Center, Monmouth South Medical Center, Community Medical Center, Hamilton Medical Center, and Somerset Medical Center as well as new regional multispecialty centers (e.g., Old Bridge). The Director will be an active leader in the development and implementation of the oncology strategic plan in collaboration with Rutgers Cancer Institute and the RWJBH oncology service line. This leader should have a regional and national reputation within a well-defined clinical care expertise and successful track record in clinical research in an area of need for the region and oncology service line.
Members of our group hold leadership positions throughout our health care system. We have a strong clinical research center to support any research endeavor. This candidate will be responsible for the professional supervision of medical professionals across the oncology programs of the Central and Southern Regions and create continuity between medical oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology and other cancer related services.
Requirements are:
- Provide Medical Oncology services including supervision of coverage of the department during all periods of operation
- Collaborate with executive leadership to execute the RWJBH Oncology strategic plan
- Assist in the development of administrative rules, policies, and regulations as they pertain to the Oncology programs
- Participate and lead community and staff medical education programs
- Direct the department’s Quality program, in-line with RWJBH system initiatives
