Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is Seeking a Transplant Nephrologist for Employment in Northern NJ!
The Renal and Pancreas Transplant Division at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) is seeking a transplant nephrologist to join its team. CBMC, formerly known as Saint Barnabas Medical Center, is a major teaching hospital within RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of 8 transplant nephrologists and over 4 transplant surgeons at CBMC. CBMC Transplant is among the 10 largest kidney transplant programs in the U.S., one of two kidney transplant programs within the RWJBarnabas Health system, and the largest and most experienced program in New Jersey, having performed 393 kidney transplants in 2023. The position is full-time and exclusively focused on transplant nephrology, with no general nephrology or chronic dialysis responsibilities, allowing for a specialized and concentrated practice environment.

Candidate Requirements:
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
- Must have renal and pancreas transplant training, preferably from an AST-certified transplant nephrology fellowship.
- Experienced transplant nephrologists and current transplant nephrology fellows are both welcome to apply.
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
