RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated health care delivery system in New Jersey, and Jersey City Medical Center are seeking a Director of Advanced Cardiac Imaging, for full-time employment. This is a unique opportunity to join the only open-heart surgery program in Hudson County. This program, part of the busy and successful Cardiovascular Service Line, works closely with intensivists and pulmonology/critical care physicians within the full spectrum of services, from general cardiology, to most advanced diagnostic services and interventional procedures.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced provider to lead a team of advanced cardiac specialists and work in multidisciplinary teams with other cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and radiologists. In addition to leadership responsibility, this role includes providing oversight, direction, and clinical support in advanced cardiovascular imaging to our structural, interventional, and advanced heart failure/transplant programs, as well as participation in both inpatient and outpatient services. The ideal candidate should be experienced in multi-modality imaging, echo, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and other invasive and non-invasive clinical activity.

Requirements:
- ABIM board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and board certified in Echocardiography
- Advanced cardiac imaging training in addition to completed cardiology fellowship
- Vascular interpretation certifications are a plus, but not a requirement.

- Multi-modality imaging for structural interventions, including intra-procedural guidance
- Imaging support for CHF program, including imaging for advanced mechanical support devices and infiltrative heart disease
- Contributing to further growth of advanced imaging programs at Jersey City Medical Center,
- Active participation in teaching of fellows and residents
This role is located in Northern NJ just minutes away from NYC with access to the NYC skyline, night life, fine dining, and waterfront views! Additionally, the location allows for an easy commute into Manhattan via train and is also close in proximity to the Jersey Shore.
