RWJBarnabas Health is seeking fellowship trained, board-certified breast surgeons to join our medical group in Northern NJ with opportunity to expand practice to another location in our northern region.
These positions are 100% breast surgery (no general surgery) with privileges at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The roles offer opportunity for mentorship as well as long-term leadership potential throughout the state. RWJBarnabas Health’s Newark location is also fully accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers.
To bolster collaboration and education throughout RWJBarnabas Health, breast surgeons will participate in system-wide Tumor Board meetings and breast health professional meetings to share ideas on patient retention, patient experience and other important topics. Join a system-wide team of 13 breast surgeons, and locally work with 4 breast surgeons, 3 Physician Assistants, and a fully staffed front office. Outpatient locations are also extremely close in proximity to the hospital allowing for minimal commute. These roles also offer generous compensation, health insurance, malpractice, and pension.
Located in Newark, this opportunity presents as an ideal location to treat an underserved population while only being a short commute away from NYC.
