RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated health system in NJ, is seeking a hematologist/oncologist to join the Jersey City Medical Center team as Director of Medical Oncology within the Department of Medicine. This full-time position will be charged with continuing to grow a hematology/oncology practice as part of our partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designate Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role offers the potential for an academic appointment with Rutgers and is well-supported by an array of specialists at Jersey City Medical Center.
The cancer program at Jersey City Medical Center is on a trajectory of growth including the recently opened Madeline Fiadini LoRe Infusion Center (https://www.rwjbh.org/our-locations/outpatient-rehab-center/madeline-fiadini-lore-foundation-infusion-center/), a newly launched foray into clinical research, and an expanding physician practice. We are seeking an exceptional clinical leader who excels in program development, relationship-building and possesses the entrepreneurial skills needed to develop and maintain a robust oncology program. Candidate Requirements:
- Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology, ideally with clinical expertise in solid organ tumors
- Accomplished leadership and relationship-building skills, as well as oncology program expansion experience
