RWJBarnabas Health is actively recruiting a highly skilled, board-certified Radiation Oncologist to join the Radiation Oncology Department at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. The Melchiorre Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC), an RWJBarnabas Health facility will serve as the northern hub for the integrated oncology services offered by RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute - the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This innovative care model is transforming the delivery of cancer services across our state; bringing groundbreaking discoveries, clinical research, and expertise from Rutgers Cancer Institute to patients close to home.
About the Position:
Our Radiation Oncology Department is committed to providing state-of-the-art cancer care to patients across New Jersey. As part of this role, the Radiation Oncologist will:
- Provide high-quality clinical care as an attending physician within the Radiation Oncology Department.
- Participate in night and weekend on-call rotations as determined by the department.
- Engage in teaching and mentorship responsibilities under the guidance of the Chair of Radiation Oncology.
- Contribute to community and physician outreach initiatives, furthering the mission to improve access to cancer care.
- Take part in medical education programs and ongoing performance improvement reviews aligned with governmental and CBMC guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board-certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
- NJ licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
- Dedication to quality patient care, teaching, and community involvement.
