RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Pediatric Gastroenterology Division at two of its key facilities—Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Both hospitals are integral parts of RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest academic healthcare system. This role offers an excellent blend of clinical and academic responsibilities, within a collaborative team. The candidate will join the current team of 3 full-time faculty members, 2 full time nurses (RNs), and 3 dietitians to provide clinical care, research, and educational support.

The Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is the state's premier hospital caring for children, offering more than 30 specialized children’s services, as well as preventive programs that promote wellness in the community. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is one of the busiest providers of pediatric care in New Jersey. The Medical Center offers the expertise of specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, child life coordinators, social workers and other health care professionals specially trained in treating the smallest patients, and personally dedicated to making them well. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is an associate member of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions. Our facilities include a 50+ bed level 3 NICU, pediatric floor and pediatric ICU with full-time pediatric intensivists and hospitalists on staff. The Kogan Celiac Center in Livingston, NJ is also a part of RWJBarnabas Health. It is the only celiac center in New Jersey, and has 2 dietitians who provide comprehensive pediatric nutrition services.  Our division members serve a pediatric population of over 360,000 children from Hudson and Essex counties alone.
